- Several years ago, I designed a 100 KM TT circuit consisting of
seven out and return segments that look like a hand with a thumb and
six fingers offering the opportunity to see other riders coming and
going as you navigate the circuit. You're not out there all alone.
Over the years, the circuit has been modified as road segments have
been paved. Riding this circuit between 6 PM and sunset is not possible
by the typical OMV rider, thus we have started early in many prior years.
- For 2009, owing to an unfortunate birthday being suffered by FE,
the circuit has been shortened to 74 KM by amputating fingers and
will start promptly at 6:00 PM. There is absolute significance
to the 74, as I said, it's most unfortunate. If you want to ride but
don't want to ride the full 74 KM, you can shorten the circuit further
yet by U-turning as you meet the leading riders inbound on each finger.

Here's 2004 TT circuit, will be modified to be 74 km long.

- Individual vs Team is an ad hoc choice. You can cease and desist
wheelsucking to test yourself or join with other riders to form a team
if you wish. Tandems are especially welcome and teams just love the U-turns.
- Post-TT, we'll chow and guzzle at El Dorado
NE corner of High House Rd at Cary Parkway
on FastEddy's limitless supply of 241 coupons.
